I like the freedom you have in Camden Tenn.
That weapon in the saddle bag is so illegal here in the Peoples Republic of New York.
Anyway, welcome to the site.

Hello from Clarksville, TN. I have a firearm store that deals in Class III items. You will find that the dual tube shotguns fit in the Vaquero saddlebag as well. As I prefer quicker access, my Kimber 45 ACP on my hip provides time to get to something more appropriate. My 300 Blackout AR comes to mind! Oh, twenty years in the Army - you would have never guessed, right?

Yes, Loafer, we are very well behaved with our firearms! And explosives, and ...

Old Bear - I am 90 minutes away. If you ever want in a class just let me know. I always like making connections with locals. Where is your shop? I am over there quite often.

Hey Stan,

1. I have classes in Vegas in January. I would be glad to meet you.

2. I carry 3 Glocks on my person. The rifle is an extra.

3. Carrying S.O.B. (Small of Back) is dangerous. Here is a awareness video I did on the dangers. PLEASE WATCH it is only 95 seconds.

I was aware of the SOB dangers. No argument there. However, my case might be a bit different than most. The last thing I want to do is get in a close encounter fight. I'm 60 and in to self preservation. As I have stated many times I will not intervene in a robbery where only money is involved. I'm very concerned where my bullet ultimately ends up if it goes through someone. I will walk away from any confrontation if I'm armed. (Really, I will.) If the robbery turns violent I will make myself a small target and draw. The rest is up to the attacker. If I end up in a close self defense situation I'm more inclined to pull I knife I carry for defense.

When driving my weapon is beside me. SOB is too uncomfortable. Actually just the holster can become uncomfortable. SOB is where its at when i ride. I think its easier to conceal there although I have to admit my CCW instructor produced 11 concealed firearms during the class and I never detected any of them. It was somewhat comical. He just kept producing firearms from over his body. He was wearing jeans, boots and a long polo shirt.

I look forward to meeting you. Send me a PM and and I will show you the town.

A gun gives you distance. I am not saying that a knife is never the right choice but it wouldn't be my first if I were armed with a gun.

That isn't a good idea for many reasons. Study the FBI Shootout in Miami.

OK but my advice about the injury applies on the bike too. It just isn't safe.

In the class I am giving there is a lecture that covers Mindset, Tactics, Skill, Legal Issues and Emotional issues surrounding self defense. I would like to invite you to attend, as my personal guest, for that portion of class.

Stand easy! This ain't Don Corlione's house.
I find that folk that love Vulcans and automatic weapon cain't be that bad. It makes the Canadians a little nervous, but Crown Royal takes the edge off.

Welcome to my beloved forum and from my beloved state of NC where here in East Bend the only way to keep my crazy ass hillbilly neighbors from shooting, fighting, and stabbing their family members is to be an outsider stupid enough to mess with 'em. They a rough looking bunch, but make some of the best corn juice and after a half a jar the women ain't so bad looking.
