What is the lower fairing that you're talking about? Is it a section that sits between an aftermarket fairing and where hard lowers would be? Most Batwing fairings sit higher than frame mounted fairings. Not sure why they make them like that but I guess it has something to do with the mounting.

The reason I mentioned, is because bamarat doesn't offer for the Vaq yet. Didn't know if it would give him some ideas.

I can make vacquero chaps in a similar way to the sage brush design. I'm working on a new fit for vacqueros because I think the sage brush design can be improved upon, but they fit and work fine. I'm trying to improve upon the simplicity of putting the straps on. Godfather helped me ensure the ones I make now fit properly, and old bear is going to help me with my new design

Bamarat; The chaps for the Nomad 1700 are quoted at $60 each. Does that mean a pair or $120 for the pair?

Here is an update... with the warmer afternoons coming in I took the chaps off the other day. The next morning it was 49 degrees and I figured it would be another nice ride in to work and a warm ride home. Well as soon as I got rolling I realized the difference without the chaps. The air was really cold and my feet and legs were taking a beating. I really wished I had waited a couple of weeks. Again, nice job and they DO MAKE a BIG difference.

Just received my new engine guard chaps and saddlebag guard chaps with bag. My engine guard chaps had cutouts made to accept my bullet 2" LED lites. Super fit. Very pleased. Easy on Easy off. Thanks BAMABRAT

I just received a set of engine guard chaps from Bamabrat. I have to say that I am impressed with craftmanship and details. They are very well made. I had a set from another vendor (can't remember company name) that cost twice the money and was of less quality. If you are looking for a well made set and very reasonably price, then Jason is the man. He is easy to work with and makes a great product. Thanks Jason for my set. BTW, forget to mention that the first set didn't make thru 1 winter of riding. It came apart at the seams.
