Who here rides with a "Guardian (Angel) Bell"

I had never heard of these before yesterday..And I have been riding a long time on and off. The gentleman who I purchased my Nomad from had this little bell hanging from the frame under the Nomad so I questioned him as to what it was.

He told me the story behind the bell and it's special meaning to him because of who gifted it to him and them told me he was going to take it off of the bike when it sold.

So of course never having heard of a Guardian Bell I had to come home and Google it.

http://www.guardianbell.com/

So anyone out there ride with one of these little Angel Bells?

Yes. Btw, they only work if someone else gives it to you.

I've heard them referred to as "Gremlin" bells. I think I like "Guardian Angel" bell better.

jonrjen, PM me your address and I will mail one to you.

Yup been riding with one for quite a while, my brother gave me mine.
His daughter gave him one. On a trip we took down east, he ran over a full size wooden pallet with his gold wing at highway speed and keep upright. The pallet exploded into pieces. We looked that bike over top to bottom and there was not a mark on it, but the guardian bell was gone. We Kinda joked that it gave up it's life to save him and his wife's life.

Been riding with one for years. So far, so good!

Yup, might be a good time for a bell swap, right here just before riding season!

Yes I have one. .....I was going to say something similar Tom.

Jared "Utah {Motorcyclist"} org. a gremlin/guardian trade between members. There might be enough people that would be interested in another one.
Get it started Tom.

I just ordered two for my son to put on his Kawasaki zx1400r. Figured he could use a double dose of Angel on that bike.

Picked up as "Don't ride faster than your Angel can fly" and a Saint Christopher bell. Along with two bell hangers for a total cost of $29.95 delivered. Plus a couple of free patches, one is an American Flag the other says "Freedom...I'll fight you for it"

Had a bell on every bike. Got's to be given by a friend though. I gave one to a buddy of mine when he bought his nomad, and he looked at me like a cow looking at a new gate. Had to explain the meaning and story to him.
Good luck.

Been ridin with one for years. Laughed hysterically when I heard the Gremlin story and had to have one.
But I do like the whole Guardian Angel story better. Lets go with that one.
