Thank you very much for the pictures.. I really like the bag rails but yes I think the fender rail is just a little much. Thank again for your help/pictures.

Your bike looks great.

I sold a set of these to Bamabrat but not sure if he ever mounted the fender one. Since you don't have the fender rap around rail, I am guessing, it might look good on yours.

That front mudguard rail would have been handy for me,when i first put the tool roll on i did'nt mount it properly, and after a week's riding & camping i noticed that the buckle's had beaten the crap out of the paint work, but i reckon it would have looked too crowded with the other rail and the light. Have you thought about chrome side panel's, i got a set from china off ebay for about £50 ($80) they are not top quality,(but then neither is the chrome on the bike,my left hand engine cover's worn through with my boot touching it,) but they look the part

the bike had a front fender V-rail when I bought it, but I took it off for a cleaner look. the rear one is still on, as well as the luggage rail on the bag tops. I strapped a jacket down on the left one, worked well.

Nope. Moving to a new house, kids, work, new truck, etc. etc. etc. Still have it, but I only mounted the bag guards. I'll get around to it....

someday :-)

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I haven't had time to baby my bike lately...I don't remember the last time she had a bath, but I keep up all of the maintenance. I still plan on installing the 3rd rail on the front fender, but I haven't had (or made) time to remove the wheel, fender, etc. to install it. To be honest, I haven't looked into it very much...I just figured a lot of work has to go into it to remove the wheel and fender.

You don't have to remove the wheel to get the fender off. If I remember correctly, two bolts on each side and it should come off.

Amin, i DID NOT realize that! hmmm...may just install that thing this weekend! (and mine DOES have a speedo cable...a few weeks ago, my speedo quit working while going down the road. I imagined all kinds of problems going on with my bike, but it actually just vibrated loose where the speedo cable connects to it on top of the tank. Finally I had an easy fix!)

Just be careful as the back of the fender is wider than the front. I'm not sure if the fender will come out the front if the tire isn't removed.

I was reading this post this morning and decided to check out our local Kawasaki dealer they have a clearance section and there is always interesting things in there, searching through the fire and steel accessories I found a front fender trim and a chrome steering head cover all prices are 40% off then she gave me the good guy discount because I have done business with them for many years, I paid $220 for both pieces now I just need to find the time to put them on.

I have chrome fender trim on my front fender. When I bought the bike it had a little damage on the front. I bent it out, sanded it and touched it up then put a piece of trim over it to hide it. Looks pretty good and did the job I wanted in concealing the damage for cheap without looking like crap.
