Looks like once again I thought the subject was one thing and it was actually something entirely different. I'm getting too old to follow these threads anymore.

But yes you are welcome to post in the Nomad section.
I have a 2001 Drifter 800 and post there if I want.
What do you have for a Drifter?

Also, we let the Harley guys stay so we would have some people to bust on.
Usually thet take it well, usually

How about the guys in Arizona, they always butt into our too cold to ride threads, and if they really are out riding all the time like they claim, they'll never notice.

I find it interesting, the twists and turns this thread has taken. Who knew that a simple question like why isn't this bike or that on here would lead to 4 pages?

Some of us still have to work, Norm. I can't speak for anybody else, but I can't ride "all the time".

Some different than the Drifter forum huh
I'm a member over there as I have a 2001 800 but very seldom go there as it is a totally different experience.
There it is mostly an information site. Not much interaction with members on a personal, get to know each other basis like here.
It is a good forum for Drifter information but not as friendly as here.

Are you a member of the Frigate Pub? We talk about all sorts of stuff there, even motorcycles sometimes!

Pulling your chain, cause I can Scott.

pcarrell, just to comment further on what Top cat said "interaction with members on a personal, get to know each other basis like here", It is true, because we can and do joke around a bit with each other we do develop friendships here. Also because of the way we can interact here, many of us take it one step further and have meet each other at various rallies.
It is one of the neat things about our rallies, putting a face to the people we already know on line. Stick around, you'll see what we mean.

Sometimes the faces belong in a horror flick, but we graciously make no comments.
