Exclamation Mark Bagger of the Month - Send 'em in!

Alright guys, we're getting a little low on entries, so send them in!

1) Send no more than 4 pictures in (minimum of 3).
2) Choose your best ones. Judging will be based on quality of pictures, how good the shots are, and of course...how nice your bike is.
3) The bigger the pictures, the better. We will re-size them to fit our needs.
4) You MUST include your forum username. Emails received without your forum username noted, will be discarded.
5) Include a little story with your pictures, such as any modifications you've done to it, any nicknames you may have for it, or any specific moments riding it that stand out.

You only need to send in your entry ONCE and it's good for the entire year. No need to re-send every month. If you're not picked one month, you may be picked the next, or sometime down the road.

Send your entries to: mail @ Vulcanbagger.com (please put BOTM as the email subject title).

Thanks, and good luck!

Admin you may want to choose another color other than the blue for the instructions, almost impossible to read on the gray background.

Yea it originally showed up fine when I made that post (copy&pasted from another older thread), but we then went with a different shade (and darker) of background, and now it doesn't show up too well.

I could edit it, but that would mean clicking that little edit button and all.. so much work. :(

lmao

Mike, any chance that you could pick a few bikes that you like and we could "vote" for the following months "Bagger of the Month". Voting after the fact seems to be pointless and mostly just tells the owner if we agree with your choice or not.

I agree Jared. That's one reason I have never even "entered the contest".

I'm holding off until the new year if the photos are good for one year.

The whole point of it is so the person, and others, are surprised to see who is the new VBOTM for the new month. So everyone can check out pictures, and cast their vote on what they think of the bike. Kind of like how magazine editors would pick 'reader's rides' and publish a picture.. the readers themselves don't pick it.

By having a 'contest' between a few entires every month kind of diminishes the point since you're seeing all the pics/entries beforehand anyway.. not much of a surprise after that.

But, all of this is moot anyway since we most likely won't continue the contest in 2013 since no one enters.

No one enters because who wants to put their bike out there so others can criticize it. I for one don't care whether others think my bike is a 1 or a 5. I like it and that is what matters.
You would get more entries if you just ask for entries and posted a bike of the month you pick from the entries with no voting by us.
Just post the pic in a closed thread.

Yep

Or have us vote for the BOM, but make the voting private so that at the end of the month the surprise can be, who won.

Tim just wants to win ever month I thinks Tims paint job is great. Even if he doesn't enter he should get mentioned.

I don't care what others think of my bike. I bought it to ride and only clean it occasional.
