I'll tell scinoO to dig up some of those mason jars full of money to take on the trip, if i see a shovel straped to a nomad i'm going to run like hell!!!!

I saw a post by tmgadget, he is asking about engine noise. He is from Joliet. I told him to come over here and chime in. I figured you IL guys could help him out and maybe get him to the meet & greet. We'll see if he finds his way over here.

Hey thanks OP. Really appreciate trying to help put people together.

I always feel bad because you are very active on the site; but live quite a distance from our location; thus we will only be able meet with you at the "national" event.... unless of couse one of us can ever make it your way... which could happen. (If I had it my way... it would be sooner than later!)

Anyway; maybe we'll get 'tmgadget' to look to our region site and join-in. He (she?) did not post on Poncho's roll-call request as far as I remember.

We're trying to put a few things together; and it seems thus far we going to make some progress.

Again, thanks for the "heads-up" and help in making this a stronger group.

At the moment it is 55 degrees and raining up here; which makes it difficult to believe the weather can be good for riding in late September -- but it can be -- and will likely be.

I'm looking forward to it also. It's always good to meet other riders and I like to check out other bikes. I just bought this Nomad so I'm looking forward to checking out the accessories you guys have went with on yours.

No accesories on my bike; just stock '04; with a few scratches now that didn't come with it from the show room.

So... you'll have to admire my bike from a far so as not to see the scratches and nicks!! Ha!

You'll have to look at Scion0's; he the one with all the additions!!... or maybe roadman's -- at least his new saddle.
