New PC Map

Hi everyone, I found a few problems causing a bad decel backfire on my 05 1600 Nomad. I started with the "marble" which stopped most of the backfire but then I started hearing an exhaust leak. I tightened the flanges at the engine and that solved almost all of the backfire. I recently added the Cadman dual air cleaners on Gadgets fixit page. Now I'm trying to find a new PC Map for this intake setup and V&H pipes. Any suggestions? ???

Thanks Ringadingh, I'm currently running the Map for "V&H w/aftermarket or stock intake". It's part of the m220-all download at Power Commander's web sight. The intake flows a lot more air now so I thought it might be running lean and that there might be a better map somewhere to download.

Perhaps there is someone here that has a custom map, they would share.

Hi Swen. I also have an '05 1600 set up just like yours. I'm currently using Map M220-02 which is probably what you're using.

I'm going to install the Chucksters plate this winter and was also wondering if this Map is going to work well with all of the extra air. Unfortunately PC's website doesn't list real MAP alternatives. It just shows one map for a a 1600 with V & H Bagger exhaust and stock/aftermarket air.

There seem to be relatively few Power Commander users on this forum but here you can always find someone who has BTDT. Hopefully they'll chime in.

Hey cantridenuf, you're right about PC's web site, they don't have very much. Thanks for the help. I'll keep looking too. I'll post whatever I find. I did both sides on the intake, it really breaths now. Sounds good too.
It looks like we have the same paint. I just put new tires on so had the back end apart. It looks good as a solo, I think I'll run that way for a while.

Thunder Mfg. has some maps on their website that you might want to look into. I had mine dyno'd and I have right side Caddman with V&H. Let me know if thunders help you. My map might work for you but every bike is different. Be glad to share it with you if needed.

I've been running mine with the solo set up for a while. I really like the way it looks.
