Carb hose's

I've just rejetted my carb after throwing all the emission part's out and fitting a K&N, i found a Y piece on the underside of the float bowl,one side has a hose that supplies water

is that all about,and the other has nothing attatched

I cant find any information as to what they are/were for,any & all comment's are welcome,even from the piss taker's.

It is a carb warmer . I will get out my manual and give You a good description later if no one else knows off top of their head but it aids in warm up .

neither of my books even shows a carb.
