Would love to see you at the Rally. Here are some options for you. Portland is one days ride from Crescent City....so this might be your best bet. Schoeney lives close to Portland...depending on when you come out, he might be able to pick you up at the airport and get you to the bike place....just a thought. I know it's nice of me to volunteer him huh? You might even be able to ride down with him if you plan ahead....

Yes..... if you fly in on Saturday I could pick you up at the Portland airport and take you to any of the Portland/Vancouver rental places.

I live about 15 minutes from the airport.

I am leaving Sunday for the rally with my brother (taking a route through the mountains and staying on the road Sunday night) or you could meet Kris and the other guys in Lincoln City (about 100 miles from Portland) on Sunday night and take the coast route down.

Or you can just fly into Medford and have a much shorter ride to the rally.

Just let us know which way makes most sense for you and I can jump in to help where needed. I would really like to meet you in person and it will be a great time provided we can keep Kris out of the tequila.

P.S. I think Latus HD in Oregon City (Portland area) might rent HD's as well...they are a good sized HD dealer.

Greg, you certainly have some options. As you can see....we here in the NW are eager to please. Like Schoeney said....you can either ride down Sunday/Monday with him and his brother on their journey.....or meet us Sunday night in Lincoln City, OR at the Best Western Landmark Inn. There will be a nice group of us coming down the Oregon coast and overnighting there Sunday Aug 21, finishing the run to CC on Monday Aug 22. It would be an easy run to Lincoln City and if you have never seen the Oregon Coast....it is stunning to say the least! Either way it would be great to see you again and you'll have a blast too.....so we'll keep our fingers crossed!
