??? Move controls forward... Options???
Is there a relocation kit to move my controls forward on my Vulcan 1600 that will accomodate the crash bar and the lowers?
I am finding my legs are a little longer and more forward on the boards that I originally thought. Would be much safer and less shifting and braking issues if I could move the controls forward. Like the ride, but need to get my feet forward.... ya, I'm a long legged kinda guy

I had looked into forward controls and found nothing that appeared to work with highway bars. If you find something post a link. I am interested as well.

I've never seen anything available for that application.

My Victory has adjustable shifter and brake peddles.

The 'boards don't move, just the levers/pedals. Still, nice to be able to adjust the levers/pedals. It would be nice to be able to adjust the heel shifter angle to match the toe shifter when you adjust it down. If you move the shift lever lower, the heel shifter goes way up. The Nomad shifter assembly is one of the best out there and had me spoiled. Separately adjustable heel and toe shifters, not much movement needed to complete a shift, heel shifter out of the way, etc.

Well, I'll keep looking then. Thanks for all the input.
I probably just need to get some more seat time and get use to it first. I had to have it on my old bike, so I figured they'd have it for this bike, which is a much nicer bike. :-)

What about a seat mod? Have the seat modified so that you sit farther back in the seat. Just a thought.

I have the mustang 2pc, but I'll look into that. Where do I look first though? I'm in DFW, if you know a local

I live here in DFW as well (McKinney) and don't think there is anyone local that can help.

I am 6'4" w/ 34" inseam and use my highway pegs on the crash bars 95% of the time. I have found shifting and braking with my heel while my feet are still on the pegs to be natural and easy.
Also did a seat mod to move me back as far as possible...here is a link to my thread on that. http://vulcanbagger.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28900
