New Guy from the Pacific Northwest

Hello to all from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Honey and I are crazy about our new Nomad. Following is a little about how we got her...

I have been riding a 2008 Vulcan 900 Classic LT since May 2008. Finally got back to riding after about 20 years. Anyway, my Honey finally climbed aboard and unexpectedly she decided she loves riding. The 900 seemed a bit small for longer trips, so we started looking for a 2-up stablemate. We had pretty much decided on the 2009 Nomad when we came across our 08. The dealer
made us an offer we couldn't refuse and 10 minutes later we were filling out a check and doing the paperwork on it. I had really wanted an 08, but we had not had any luck finding the blue/silver combination. Once we found it, that was it. So far we've taken two overnight trips of about 400 miles each and been cruising around the area on the weekends for
about 2100 miles on the Odo. Much more to come...We both love being outside and riding in comfort and style. Our Nomad is a great companion. PS; the 900 is still my everyday ride. I love the
MPG and now when I ride it it feels like a little sports car and the
Nomad is our Lincoln Town Car...My 900 has over 17K miles on it. Jim

We've added a Cobra Light Bar, Cobra Luggage Rack, Kuri Highway Pegs, Kuri ISO grips, Kuri Triple Whammy Run-Turn-Brake rear light controller, Signal Dynamics LED Lic Plate Frame with Run-Brake light, RAM GPS Mount and a 12V Power adaptor for the GPS.
