Congratulations Bugman. You might want to get a can of high temp black spay paint to cover up the evidence.

Welcome to the fold.

Oh, geeze...Two ex-cops!

I guess I shouldn't brag too loudly on how my Baggers with the glass-packs make those de-baffled stock pipes sound positively legal. ;)

I think that's why I never get tickets for my loud mufflers. Moto-cops remember fondly the days of the unbaffled Harley, as they whiz about on these new BMW's like a Singer with wheels.

On a group ride yesterday, we pulled over to the side of the highway just before we split up to go home. Lots and lots of bikes out yesterday. You''d hear a bunch of Harleys rumbling by, and then a Wing or BMW that just whizzes by, the tires making more noise than the exhaust.

But Scott how did your Nomad sound rumbling down the highway? did the members in your group like the sound??

To me, it sounds a lot better. I could actually hear my own bike for a change, riding with a VTX and a couple of Road Kings with loud pipes. There was another rider with a stock Nomad that really liked the sound. I'm pleased with the results of the bafflectomy. I don't want to be one of those guys that rattles the windows of the neighbors when I start my bike up. They all have small children and I don't want to disturb them when they are taking naps, etc. Aren't I a considerate guy?

Yes Scott you sound like a very considerate guy.
Thats one of the reasons I like the bafflectomy. It is not real loud, just nice deep sound. You see I'm considerate also. When Cindy is sleeping during the day ( see works nights ) I can sneak, err, I mean go for a ride without waking her up. ;)
