Just like to introduce myself from BC

Hey Captain,

I'm in Victoria and ride up island for the day almost every weekend - let me know if you want to meet up somewhere along the way sometime :)

You must feel like a kid on Christmas Eve - the endless wait to unwrap your new toy - exciting....and exhausting ;)

Captain Phil..welcome aboard and congrats on the new bike. My home town is Nanaimo. I lived there off/on for 30yrs. I now live in Boyle Alberta. I'm working when the island run is on so can't make it either but will be on the island in may and aug..As time gets closer, maybe we can hook up for a coffee or better yet a ride..John

Hey Bdog,

Will be in Patricia Bay during May doing refit on the ole' broom barge I run.
Will be making evening runs to my daughter's place in Nanaimo on evenings when the weather is good. Will try an hook up with ya during that time.
I always have my netbook with me and on line pretty regular, so drop a note or PM.
Phil

Finally picked up the new bike today. Wow what a long wait, just like Christmas right now though.
I'm quite impressed with the first 100km on it.
Will put some more miles on tomorrow.
I hope to ride it home in three weeks when I finish work. From what I've seen so far it is going to be a great trip.
