2014 Rally Week - Page 3

If you want to open up a short window of discussion on changing the date to a week earlier or later, that is fine. I am talking to hotels now so we would have to come up with a stone cold lock by end of the week or Monday at the latest.

I apologize for not being on for the last few days. Been dealing with a ton of stuff both professionally and personally lately. I will do my best to get this all tied up quickly.

I'm way late on my vote here, but, either the week of the 15th - 21st or the 22nd - 28th. Either is fine with us.

well with Connie retiring on the 30th of May and wanting to get thru Yellowstone before the 4th of July I guess the best week for me would be the 8th to 14th

I voted for the middle week but,,,,,,, you can change my vote to the first week if that helps Cliff & Diane and the other folks with conflicts out. I just can't make the last week on the list.

I'm going to lock this thread on Friday and start another with information for the rally starting on June 9-12 if that is agreeable. I will call hotels on Friday or Monday, depending on my schedule.

If anyone is serious opposed to the date change, post in this thread and we will discuss. I really want to get this nailed down for everyone to get their time off set. I apologize for this dragging on...almost like one of Kawhead's campfire stories after having some Gentlemen Jack.

I voted for the week of 15-21, however, any week is fine with me. I would like to finally get to meet some of you. So, lock it down and post. I will schedule my vacation accordingly.

The earlier date will not allow for those who are thinking of doing this one then over to Mountain View for the South central.

It is true that they won't be able to roll from one right to the other but they can still do both if they choose to.

That just gives you 11 days of riding in 2 or 3 different states on your to the SC rally

Yea but the shop won't allow three weeks in a block for vac. Was looking at over 2000 miles plus the ride miles at the rallies in two weeks. Now I will have to decide on one or the other.

Not sure what I am going to do yet, I hope to get out west this summer and I would like to make Elkins will have to wait and see
