Only in the south...
I went to renew my tags yesterday after work... of course as soon as I got off it started raining so I rode thru the showers to hurry and get my tags. When I got there, this is what I found...

Just another reason I renew my tags online. I don't know about the DMV where you live, but here the DMV waiting area is like Ellis Island. I am afraid of contracting tuberculosis or hepatitis at the DMV.

Oh and Motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and boat tags in MT are all permanent . Pay once when you license it and your done.
