Charleston has a ton of scenic riding. No twisties, and apparently that is what the majority wants. From CHS there are many cool rides. Up through the state park north towards Myrtle, south through the marsh and flats towards Beaufort and Parris Island on to Savanah and on and on and on.

Charleston is a very nice place! I've been through there before in the cage and it was still nice. I'm for it!

I think Coach is looking for something thats as closely centered so more members can make it.

I guess you could make the argument that Charleston is more center than Northern Virginia.

We still have time for ideas.

If we end up in Charleston I would be more than happy to help with or make the arrangements. I spend a good bit of my time there. Currently I'm working there part time as well as in Charlotte, and I lived there a few years ago.

Southeastern at the Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, GA. Lots of cabins, rooms, great restaurant and bar. Lots of great day trips around the area and pretty well centrally located in the SE.

Check it out at http://www.thelodgeatcopperhead.com/

I agree with Jesse, I'm getting close to Vacation picking time. We need to get this nailed down. I do however like the Idea of south of here, to make it a little closer for those down in the southern states.

I grew up real close to Charleston. Nice city, but definitely flat land riding. I'll help any way I can if it ends up there.

Here's a thought, some owner groups have places that they hold they're rally points at the same place each year. Since we're having such a difficult time chosing a place how about going back to a place we've already been? And maybe we could also, while we're at it do the same thing by setting a certain place as the annual RallyPlace. That way we wouldn't have such a difficult time deciding on a place for each years RallyPlace??? Don't shoot me, just a thought...

BANG!

That is a great idea. I like the idea of going back to Helen/Blairsville, GA area.

DON"T SHOOT HIM!!!

A gun is to fast!

Use a baseball bats, it's slower and gets your point across, and much more enjoyable!

Helen's fine with me. Great rides, great food, my wife likes it.

Maybe set up a three-or four-way rotation of locations so every six-to-eight years to you return to a former location: Helen/Blairsville, Charlestown, Shenandoah Valley, Panama City for example. Provides familiarity and variety. Just an idea.

Is your bride going to be able to attend Mike? Check the Southeastern Rally board for information on where, when and such.
