This is True! Brad made me pay for every lunch at my first rally.

Come to think of it he also had me pay for breakfast every morning at the last rally.

Not as bad as the ride at Crescent City on the fresh oil. Still finding rocks from that ride.

Joel- I was told by a local that the Hub Bar and Grill in Kamiah, ID (about 23 miles up Lolo Pass toward Missoula) had real good food/service.

I am up for some gravel....

LOL....the gravel riding lesson was not planned....and neither was passing the county paint striping rig. Somehow we managed....but Ill bet that paint striping driver had a few choice words for us.....

If you are wondering...they were painting the double-yellow center line on a long narrow country road in which we got caught behind them. Steve got impatient and blew right across the wet yellow paint to make a pass....but I took my time, picked my spot and slowly passed him on the right shoulder...as did the rest of our group...!

Choices are limited in Lolo and this place looks perfect....I'm all in....!

Schoeney,

Kamiah, is 140 miles west of Lolo or only 22 miles east of Orofino. By the time we go from Orofino to Lolo with stops it will be lunch time and I don't know if we would have any happy faces waiting that much longer to get back to Kamiah.

I don't see anything funny in that at all. Besides, I've attended plenty of rallies, via proxy.

Yeah. I guess I was just throwing that out as a possible eatery on a different day. My bad....I wasnt suggesting to ride to Lolo...I meant it was on Lolo Pass (Hwy 12) just 23 miles from Orifino. Just a local place to hit one day...whether it be an organized ride or not.

Cheers

Kris, that was a good time. We still get a chuckle about it.
As far as gravel roads go, if they lead to food count me in!

Tad, it will be great to see you guys again, we really enjoyed riding and spending time with you and the missus last summer. I'll bet your kids were happy that the "people you didn't even know" turned out to be not so bad..... If you can sneak over here for a couple days in early summer....we'll leave a light on for ya. There might even be a couple cool rides and great seafood places around too....! If not, we'll get busy in Orofino. This is gonna be a great rally...
