Scootworks now partner vendor w/discount

KawaNOW members are now setup to receive discount from Scootworks.

Below is confirming email from Dave Hockaday explaining how it works.

As soon as Trip receives Scootworks logo, etc; he'll set up a direct link, adding Scootworks as a partner vendor.

I have now set up a discount for the group with Scootworks.

Everything on the site is already discounted from 10-40%, so I added a discount for KAWANOW to deduct an additional 10% from the order total.

When a member places items in their shopping cart, they'll need to place the word KAWANOW in the promo box, and click recalculate. They will then see their additional savings displayed in their shopping basket.

It does not work in conjunction with the BIKETOBER promo we were running (and are currently shutting down), and provides more extra markdown than any other promo we've run in 2009.

This promo will not be advertised in any of our newsletters, displayed in our store, or mentioned on the website.

Oh sure, after I already spent $700 on a tourpak from Scootworks, NOW we get a discount!

Good job, I hope lots of members can take advantage of the discount. Scootworks is a pretty good vendor to deal with.

Unfortunately I ordered just before this post. :-/
However I do have some concerns for the other members in the future... ???
I am sure that everyone who has dealt with Scootworks has some level of satisfaction but could one of you sprinkle some magic dust my way?
As you might have read in a different post I ended up ordering the Polished Phat II Risers and a Mustang rear fender Bib.
This was all worked out on Thursday of last week. Keep in mind I started this process 3 days prior to Thursday.In fact a nice lady called me on Thursday and assured me that the risers and the rest of the order would go out on Friday.
Today I asked for a tracking number since I was told to look for it on Tuesday.
The reply I received was "The risers went out today" that being of course Tuesday TODAY...

As you might guess I'm not real happy over this but I will give them the benefit of the doubt once more...
All I would ask is that whoever was responsible for helping the KawaNow members in getting discounts talk to this "Dave" and stress that there needs to be better customer service in the future.
Heck..I had my bike totally disassembled awaiting the new new risers. :-[
