My First Ride on the Nomad

Well, it's actually not the first time I've ridden it but the first time I got out on a beautiful spring day to stretch her legs and get the feel of it since purchasing it this winter. I previously rode only a few miles, wanting to get the service done and new Extra Max tires installed, which I did a couple of weeks ago.

I really like this bike and am going to very much enjoy some long range touring on it. It is very comfortable, is adequately powered for touring and handles nicely. Below are a few pics. I've made only a few mods such as adding the Cobra front lights, a Mustang seat/backrest, removed the passenger floorboards, removed the passenger backrest (and turned logo to the front) and installed a Cobra rear rack.

Along Sinclair Inlet in down town Port Orchard a few miles from my house

And of course a stop at the end of the ride for a brew at one of my favorite local watering holes
