Bike Week

I have three days off Wed-Fri (Mar 31-Apr 2) so I can go on some charity rides and spend all day test riding bikes and hanging out amongst the vendors.

Bike Week

Jim, check the thread "Daytona Bike Week" in the Nomad and other topics section.
Some of us are meeting at the Kaw tent on this Sat. My Plan is to get there around 11:30 AM. I'll use the access road behind the tents and park along/behind the tent in the parking areas off that road. We are going to hang out there, pick some place to have lunch with KSU at 12:30 PM to head out for lunch.
Hope to see you there.
Ross

Oh, they have a bike week in Daytona, too? I thought you meant AZ Bike Week. Sorry, my bad. ::)

yeah, I can see how that would be an easy mistake to make...after all there must be, what, four or five motorcycles in AZ?

Close. There are over 300,000 registered motorcycles in AZ. We ride year round, just like you can. The difference is, we have mountains and twisties in AZ.

Jim, good to see you Sunday. Kind of ironic that the only two KawaNow'rs that got together at bike week did it on the day things weren't scheduled and neither one was riding a Nomad at the time! Just goes to show that good planing is no substitute for dumb luck!
I wonder how upset the other guys would be if they found out the restaraunt comp'd our meal too? Maybe they will show up at the next one?

Ross,

ditto.

yeah, kinda of a nice treat from the restaurant. I've had several people tell me since then that if they are slow in getting things out they do everything possible to make it right. You go "down the hatch"!!

BTW - nice ride, Ross

Jim

The wife & I were up their all day Saturday with the bike, couldn't make Sunday, doing a $20K + remodel on my kitchen right now :)

We take out 24' Walk Around boat their all the time, next time were heading up, and we know were staying in the " river "
we'll drop a line.

They always do the right thing, if they even run a little behind, we had our appetizers comped the weekend before when we were their by boat, because they brought us chips instead of fries

2min later out came the fries, and our appetizers were comp'd :)
