That's funny... I'm Monkey of the White Werewolves MC.

I can't be Monkey, we already have one. Plus, I don't want to do that many projects to my bike.

Bdog is short for Blackiedog which was handed to me because out of a group of us that hung out and rode together, five of us were Johns and one Don. All together there were 12 originals and we form the Dog Brothers MC. For the past 40 years we have gotten together on the May24 long weekend for a 3 day ride. Not much has changed except our age and the bikes we ride. New blood thru the years has been welcomed and we are now around 30 members.
LouisJay comes to mind as a new handle.

Naw, it's because of my cold and disagreeable personality.

I don't see a problem in changing your call sign (login name) Jay. Just come up with one and we'll try and get it changed. Now, I don't want everyone deciding that they need a new name. And yes Rickyboy, I am listening.

I have always liked, Paladin and Maverick for call signs.... In fact, I used those names on my earlier Honda bikes. Paladin was the name for a 1998 Honda Magna I owned until 2005. I still kick myself for selling that bike. http://www.hilliard.ws/honda.htm ... Paladin... Have Magna Will Travel.

Trip I appreciate the offer, but I don't want to start anything by flexing any rules. I'll just try to come up with something I can live with and put it in my signature, e.g. Jay "XXX" Stephens. Eventually it may stick, and we won't cause any undue confusion.

I'll continue to solicit some help choosing a name though. I'll give my local friends a chance to weigh in also.

Biggs - go big or go home (my wife suggested Mr. Big, but that's too delicate to explain . . .)
Thor - mythological god of thunder, and I'm always messing with exhaust. Somewhat of an Exhaust-note aficionado.
Yoshi - even though it ties me to a current bike, something non-permanent (currently using Yoshimura mufflers on my Vaquero) I've always thought it was a cool name. Also a fire-spitting dragon character in Nintendo games.
Triple-X - felt good when I typed it out as an example.
Captain - that's always my choice of rum and drink in general, and who isn't after some booty?

Falling Rock - just to make you all think of me when you see the signs "Watch for Falling Rock"

Previously mentioned were:
Dipshit - but who HASN'T earned that one?
ModMan - I can't leave anything alone on my bike. Constantly modifying something
