very short piece of small diameter vacuum hose split lengthwise and then cut in half, then you have a small piece to put under the square nuts for each terminal bolt.

I added a fuse block as well as a relay for all the accessories. Much much cleaner and easier than have a stack of wires and in line fuses.

I have a fuse block for the fairing but I have to get power to it somehow. I've got 2 hot, a ground and ground for the Fuel Pak.

I had to use slightly longer battery bolts, after adding a couple wires. The bolts provided are barely long enough for the stiock wiring.

Looks like I'll be getting some longer bolts. Great help, all!

Just think, some engineer got paid for that brilliant idea.

OK I let you morons suffer long enough. Lets say all your new pos and neg leads that are now causing the nut to be too short and are frustrated trying to "catch" the dang thing consider this:

Most, like the red lead to the battery or a complete circle with the wire like this =====0
The easiest and smartest thing to do is to "notch" the circle so is looks like this ====C Make the notch just big enough to go around the battery hold down bolt and now all you have to do is loosen the bolt slightly and just slide the end in...

A piece of plastic and a Dremel would fix the entire battery problem. $3 worth of material and some careful cutting. You could probably sell them for 10 bucks and make a killing.

I use a small piece of plastic tubing. (Ace Hardware) Place it inside the terminal and then install the nut on top of it. A small screwdriver is helpful in compressing the tubing while installing the nut. Once installed, the tubing keeps the nut in place and located at the top of the terminal. The GREATEST benefit is it stays in place preventing it from falling out!

I always install these and they work fantastic plus a SUPER HUGE FRUSTRATION preventer also.

Or, you can get a Yuasa battery. Their bolts are long enough to handle a few power add-ons and grab the nut at the bottom of the post.
