Looks good Rocnrol. I just finished my 18" HD wheel on my 2008 VN2000. I cannot believe how much better it rides.

Check out www.rotation.mx they have great prices on wheel/tire packages and even offer the fender spacers. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would've posted one a few days ago. I got one of there 21" wheel kits for under $1200 bolted right up in less than and hour and half.

notmighty, does Rotation provide all the necessary hardware and adapters to fit the stock rotors, or did you need to do any engineering yourself?

Thanks for all the input guys! Really appreciate it. :-)
I guess I'll just have to save my money to be able to get a 21" wheel kit...

It's worth it I've gotten a lot of compliments on how good it looks.

Well, I'm pretty much sold on a 19 incher. I want to 100% retain stock wheel/tire diameter while keeping a fair amount of sidewall. The reason I asked is because Roaring Toyz has a kit that allows for swapping over the stock rotors AND will sell it too me on a 19" wheel provided the wheel is either Performance Machine or Xtreme Machine. I was looking at the Rotation website to see if they had any other models to look at but that would only appeal to me if the kit contained all that was needed to do the swap.

x2 on Rotation; I had a great experience using them for my 21" and they offer 19" options. Don gives you a ton of time discussing what you want/need and sells bolt on packages for the best price you'll find anywhere by a large margin.

If you are looking for a 18" or 19" wheel then check out V2K_Rods post. I did the 18" first then the 19". I really like the look. If you are looking to not break the bank then a 19" or 18" HD wheel is the ticket. Sure I would love a 21" wheel but I can not afford those prices.

Yep, just get the wheel you want (StreetGlide), cut your wheel spacers, then slide on your calipers, and see how much diff. they are. Use new pads when you do this, making sure the pistons are fully retacted into the caliper. Then meaure the amount to cut off your caliper mounts or add, to get the caliper spacing where it needs to be.
Use the StreetGlide wheels, you can pick them up cheap on Ebay and Craigslist if you wait. I know on the 21" on my Nomad, I had to turn some off the outter dia. of rotors, cause the Harley rotors are bigger in dia. than the Nomads.
Its rediculously easy....After all the cutting of spacers, milling on fork legs (caliper mounts)....I did mine less then $450, including wheel (5 spoke thin blade wheel) with a good tire on it, machine work....took less than 3 days to measure everything up and get it all installed, the lo-buck way....

What's your thought about machining the brake router lugs (19" HD Enforcer wheel) instead of the fork legs. Then you can change the wheel back to stock.

This is exactly what I did to my HD wheel to mount it.
