1997 1500D (POG) Question

Does anyone know how long the service bulletin is good for the POG Plastic oil gear on a 1997 1500D I just got a used one and it rides/runs great. I am unsure if the gear has been changed or anything. but it has 26K Miles and was wondering

They stopped fixing them a couple of years ago.

If it still has the POG and it goes, it's your baby now.

Check it and consider a JOG.

They stopped honoring the warranty 5-6 years ago, if you remove the rh engine case you can check if its been replaced or not. I thought only 99 Nomads had the plastic gear.
