Oil leak

I had the battery issue about a month ago, looks like all is well on that front as battery was toast and new one has the bike starting and running fine. I have just discovered a couple oil spots on the garage floor. Upon looking under the bike it appears to coming from just above the kickstand. Some oil spay under that side of bike as well. After stopping in garage a couple drips then it stops. Bike is completely stock except for Vance and Hines. I did change the oil about a month back. Any ideas. Once again, thanks in advance!

Maybe the clutch cylinder is leaking under the side cover.

Most likely, your clutch pushrod seal has come out of its hole. Common problem.

I've seen it done in a parking lot. Remove the left side foot rest, then the shifters. Then remove the cover, loosen the clutch slave cylinder and move it out of the way.
Then you can get to the seal. Apply some type of adhesive to the seal and reinstall it.

Thanks guys, doesn't seem too bad, could be worse for sure. 2 more questions: what kind of adhesive. Can I drive it this week before fixing on weekend if I keep an eye on oil level? It is my main transportation to school, I coach after school, not much time till the weekend. My commute is about 15 miles each way. Thanks!

Yeah, it shouldn't leak much, just keep an eye on your oil level until you can get it fixed. I used Permatex gasket adhesive to glue mine back into place on my 2007 Nomad. It never came out again.

Great news, thanks guys, this place rocks! The fix sounds easy enough, what should I expect when I take the cover off? Is anything going to come out.. parts, liquid.... Is it as easy as it sounds?
