lowering kit

is there any lowering kits available for the 2008 1600 nomad?

lowering kit

Yeah, the lowering kit is a pair of shorter rear shocks. Not a cheap way to do it.

lowering kit

Thats the only way I know of doing it as well. Check Ebay for some shorter progressive shocks, they turn up there sometimes.

Why? Std drags enough with out lowering.

lowering kit

Yes, you can lower it. I lowered mine 2.00". I lowered the front and rear of my 2008
Nomad. I used progressive shocks and springs. Front springs No# 01564 And rear
No# PS-4243C, 412CRZR - 12"

I have a pair of 440 HD's which are 11.5" in black.

I'll make someone a killer deal.

There you go frog32. I lowered mine and didn't like the way she handled. Plus it scraped the pipes with little effort. Having that said, some folks have done it and love it! To each his own.

lowering kit

I purchased a kit from Scootworks. It contained 2 Progressive shocks and a tool to adjust the firmness. It lowered the 1.25". I have not done anything to the front. The cost was around $260.
