I sure hope that dude is full of it , I just mounted my CT after work tonite and as good as it rides I would hate to have to replace it!

As far as insurance Co.'s covering a claim for bikes/people running car tires,....... I'd be interested to know how many people {here} have told their insurance Co. that they are running a car tire on the back of their bike. I'm going to guess they'd have something to say about it. Ricky, Can't answer the question on all insurance companies but Progressive verbal response to me was; "as long as its a DOT approved tire."

Some months ago the same question came up on the "Darkside" forum.
Members posted copies from 3 insurance companies basically saying the same thing...."as long as its DOT approved."
Two of the companies were Progressive and State Farm. Don't remember the third.

I tried guys.
I scanned the article to my computer as pictures but had to resize to get this site to load them. Then they were to small to read.

So I then scanned the article to a pdf file and they are so big the site will not let me load them either.
I guess if you want to read the article you will have to buy tghe Rider mag.
