I'm slowly turning my 1600 into a hybrid. A Vulcan-Davidson!
I'm not sure if CJ coined the phrase or if I came up with it myself but I call mine a NomaDavidson

That wasn't me, Rick. I did come up with "UltraNomad", though.

distance between 1500 and 1600 forks

What is the distance between the 1600 forks? Could this wheel be adapted to the 1500?

A 1600 should be about 8.9" to the outside of the spacers.

I'm sure it would fit a 1500 as long as you do the math and figure the spacing.

If the 1500 is useing the same size rotor (300mm) and axle (25mm) as the 1600 then it should fit. As dshelly said, you'ed just have to figure out the correct axle spacer sizing. Not a hard thing to do. Take note that we had to shave about 1/8th inch of our brake caliper mounts to line the calipers up with the Street Glide wheel rotors. Again, not really difficult.

I hope it doesn't start leaking oil or something. It does look good though.

I like it to Bill, hmmmm wonder if the wife would mind me doing that. She is totally ok with performance mods, not so much for looks only mods though. How did you get the lower forks so polished?.....Pat

I paid the local chrome shop $130 to polish them. I was running out of funds after the wheel mod and opted not to pay the $275 to chrome them.

I think the stock CVO Agitator Harley wheel is one of the best "stock" wheels anywhere. I don't plan on swapping my wheels (too much money for some bling) but if I did, I'd have a set of Agitator clones made.
