Boy am i Pissed

spent the whole weekend installing Sirius radio and now there no power to it ( wont even light up) made all the wires nice and pretty and now have to take the whole bike apart to sent it back :(" title="" border="0"/> :(" title="" border="0"/>... tried everything, bought a lighter adapter to plug in the Sirius adapter. and the unit i bought works fine, but cant tell if Sirius adapter works cant get my volt meter in it (too small) so dont know if its the adapter or the radio or the cradle that everything plugs into,,, all i know is i'm PISSED.. not like telling you how i really feel :(" title="" border="0"/> :(" title="" border="0"/> :(" title="" border="0"/>

+1.

Thought of the day "If only I had powered it up BEFORE I installed it."

This will be funny next winter.

That is a serious problem. Sorry couldn't resist. If that were me I would not be able to ride for the rest of summer as I would have torn out all wiring in frustration, or the bike would have gone up in flames as soon as I powered it up.

Isn't Sirius the Dog Star? Maybe you forgot to hook up the woofer.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist either.)

i feel better now took my Radio to Radio Shack and it works on there system, its got to be the STUPID lighter adapter they send with the radio. course i checked the fuse first time and it was blown, but further examination they had put a 5A quick start in it, instead of a 2A slow blow. DOH

I had a similar problem when I installed Sirius on the VTX I used to own. But, once I got everything working properly, I absolutely loved having it on the bike. I'm installing it on my Nomad this weekend.
