I'd still like a Drifter some day. Has anyone ever seen a Drifter with Nomad bags?

I havn't seen one, but I think that would ruin the whole look about it being a Drifter.

I was thinking with some creative body work, the bags could get some styling to give them that Drifter look.

I actually saw pictures of one a few days a go. I will post the link if I find it again.

It is not mine. I have seen several, but don't have those pictures. The shape of the Nomad bag really compliments the fender!

Here is a Nomad with a Drifter fender. Both pics are of the same bike, just repainted.

I think the bags look OK on a 1500 Drifter but would take away from the looks of the 800's.

The Nomad bags look better than I thought they would on the Drifter, but its still nothing I'd put on, if I had a Drifter.

Lar, I have 2 sets of baffles in them and I still think they are loud.

Agreed. My idea of what would look good on a Drifter would be the classic/retro look. A tan colored leather seat and bags with lots of studs, conchos and fringes. I think the new Indian Chief Vintage has that look.
