Unless you are extremely lucky it looks like you are going to have to wait until Spring to sell it. Used Nomads are hard to sell in the best of times IMO.

I agree with you ..... love the bike ..... need to move on ..... great bike in perfect shape..... I have had it sold 3 different times..... and all three have backed out..... not because of the bike ... all three went with a HD instead...... AND that is what I keep hearing ...."no re-sale" I didn't buy it to re-sell it .... I bought it to ride...... I need a bagger with a trunk and all the goodies..... I put a fairing on and other goodies.... but i'll ride her until she is sold or traded..... loan value is $7,000 ... I can't figure out why they are so hard to re-sale..... ????????

Until I bought mine 3 years ago I did not know anything about the Nomad, hardly ever saw one, did not know the specifications etc. Only after a lot of research did I buy one. I think that is the problem, uninformed people would rather go with Harley because it is "perceived" to be a better bike because there are lots more Harleys than Nomads, therefore they must be better. Nomads are a lot of bang for the buck but try to convince someone who has not done their homework and you are sc*#wed.

Crabby, contact "www.National Powersports.net" in Pembroke, N.H. They sell a fair amount of Nomads. They crate and ship. If they could buy yours right, maybe they would be interested in buying it. I have several friends who have done business with them, with satisfying results.

I was contacted by a local Dodge Dealer who advised me they had a 2010 HD Road King for sale ... with 2,500 miles, extended 7 year warrenty and about $1,500 in goodies.... I explained to the salesman that I had a Nomad for sale...... he made me an offer I could not refuse.... I traded the Nomad for the HD .... the deal was incredible I simply could not pass it up! The salesman was the guy who sold me the Nomad new..... the Kawa dealer went belly up and he when to work for this Dodge dealer. Thanks for all the advice over the past couple years and I will not be a stranger!
