Your "other" toys

I saw in another post that Scion0 has a Charger. Being a Dodge man myself I have a Magnum. Thought this might be a good place for us to discuss our other toys.

2005 Dodge Magnum - yes its got a Hemi
1949 Chevy 3/4 ton - Project

Airplanes are one of my other toys. Don't own any; just fly them. Single-engine "visual flight rules" (VFR). Weekend/fair-weather flier.

Drums are my other toys. Played professionally for 26 years and still have a few sets hanging around -- to include the newest Hart Digital set as well.

Fly fishing equipment is involved in some of my other toys also.

I realize the last two don't involve "engines"; but thought I would include them anyway.

Your "other" toys

The bike is the only toy I have anymore. I have 5 kids, ages 3 to 13, so riding the bike is enough.

Man with that many kids there should be plenty of toys to play with. I have 2 kids ages 2, 7 months and I barely have room for me and the bike with all their stuff.

I don't play with their toys and I try to keep it to a minimum. Some day I'd like to get a project car, or if I was younger, take up flying a helicopter, but what the hell.

Ponch; looks like the Nomad may be the only toy for a while yet for you with five kids. College is just around the corner for the first! (My two are in college now -- whew!! I tell you -- college should be free in America -- or at least discounted some.)

Gofs99; 50 bucks and she'll never know you said such a thing!!! Ha!

Hey shoer00; welcome to North Central Region site. Not sure where you are from but interesting to hear you have horses. My sister and "BIL" live in Prescott, AZ and are "horse-people" also. Love to visit them and ride. I am not very good though; but love it.

If you would; please let us know more about your bike and about you. Also, if you would'nt mind; please go to your "profile" and add-in where you live. (At the top of each page is a link for your profile. Click on it and modify it.) It helps us immediately identify your area; which helps when location is relevant to a question or opinion.

Anyway; welcome aboard and keep posting.

Nomad is my primary summer vehicle.I sold an 03 Meanstreak in June that I had put 52,000 miles on. The Nomad (05) has 51,000 miles. The toy I have is a '70 Kawasaki H-1 that is a project.I hope to have it up and running by next summer.
You guys that get to fly are very lucky.Don't ever take it for granted.

2003 WRX, put back to stock now but when I get moved Roscoe the bigger turbo & intercooler and exhaust go back on. It's the "winter" car. The summer car is a '01 Miata. No, not one of the "rainbow" ones. Supercharged and putting down twice the stock HP at the rear wheels. Screams like a banshee. Damn, is it fun!! :-)

And computers.
