Future meet and greet

Ok, I am looking for ideas here. Would anyone be interested in a meet and greet, either this year or next, and where?

I think that would be a great idea. My opportunities are somewhat limited by a work schedule that includes every other weekend, but if the timing worked out...

We would want to try and find a fairly central location for everyone. It might be kind of fun if we can work it out.

Ponch;

Might be a good idea. I certainly always like some reason to ride.

Distance could be a stretch though given the size of the region.

I agree it is a great idea other than finding a central enough locale. I work a 4 day week so I always have a 3 day weekend.

May be if we have enough people, we can break our region into subregions and have many meet and greets. If not, I am open to almost anything.

I think right now it is a game of wait and see as to how many people we have. It may take some time for everyone to wander into the new regional forums. I would bet we have more members than have currently introduced themselves.

I know its not exactly central and is a year away but lets keep in mind that the National Rally is in our Region next June. If we dont get something lined up before perhaps we could hold a short meet and greet during that time.

Just thought that might be easier to organize for a first time. I am sure that being the first RL and ARL could be nerve racking because you are the first and there is no regional example to follow. You guys get to have a hand in starting a tradition, yeah.

No pressure guys whatever we do lets just concentrate on making it fun first. This is the best group of guys that I have never met. Ha Ha.

We could have a very informal get together. Hell,we can have as many as we like.

A central location for this region looks to be somewhere around the Minneapolis area. Anyone from that area know a good place? Planning ahead for a full meet.

Hey guys; thanks for posting-up on this thread. We keep getting a few more in our region drifting-in; which is good.

Ponch is beginning (in all of his spare time) to put the list together of members and their locations that have posted to the roll-call.

From looking at the member list; we should have some more members do so from the North Central Region -- if they are in fact still logging-on to KawaNOW.

I am starting a new thread to open-up a discussion on an idea Ponch and I were talking about briefly. The thread is called NCR Ideas.

Talk soon, Greg
