Riding Weekend

It is good to see that no one had time to post yesterday, 10/11. I hope that means that everyone was taking advantage of the great October weather and out riding and doing more of it today too. Enjoy the weather, I am.

Ride Safe!

Riding Weekend

Yeah thanks John for giving me a call to ride!!!!

The reason I am posting is because I am eating lunch in between "last-minute" fall house projects that my wife has for me to do today. A call would have been nice so that I could have at least had some excuse to ride this morning!! Ha!

I did ride for about 4-hours yesterday -- it was beautiful. As soon as some paint dries today I will be taking another shorter ride.

Have fun all.

I hope you weren't riding near my area. It rained all weekend (non-stop) in the east and up to 9 inches of snow out west. I hung sheetrock on the ceiling of my fathers new garage. I would much rather have been riding. My shoulders would probably feel better today too.

I rode both days. It was great weather. Too bad it won't last forever.

Alright, now just wait a minute guys.

Roadman -- you came into my area and didn't let me know? You are now officially on the same list as John (gofs99) for not having saved me from weekend house-duties!!! Ha!

Stretch -- I can understand why you might have wanted to avoid "us" given the long ride you took with us to Galena! You still hold the trooper award.

OP -- I can't tell you how much I feel sorry for you. Not only could you not ride -- but you had to hang drywall!! What a miserable job. I don't know your age; but for me, that would have just absolutely killed me, even if just on walls. I couldn't have taken it if it were ceilings.

Mike (Scion0) -- You are off-the-hook. You didn't ride in my area, but still got a ride in last weekend. Extra points due for the two-up ride!

Hey guys; we're winding-up our season here in the Midwest. Now we have to endure the posts from other members that have longer -- or year-round seasons.

Any creative ideas or communication to keep us from our "ride-deprived" depression during the "off-season" is encouraged.
Maybe we can plan next season's "meet-and-greet" rides; and/or the KawaNOW national gathering in Custer, SD.

Hopefully, several of us can participate in one or more of them.

As I have said, I never put the bike away in the winter. If the weather looks good, you never know...
