Test rode a new bike and have made a purchase!

Well I was out riding this weekend and ended up test riding a 2015 Honda F6B and fell in love! Long story short I traded in my 14 Vaquero and bought it. I could not believe how light and nimble that big bike feels and nothing can come close to the power deliver of that flat six. Ended up on a 2015 Deluxe version in the blue and got a decent trade in for the Vaquero.

Greetings,
Ufda! Congratulations! Have eye-balled the FB6's and liked them as well. Glad you feel good about the deal.
Pics?
Ride safe,
Smokier

Heres a couple of pics that are not the best because I was riding till dark so these was taken in the garage. With the Vaquero gone i'm going to list a lot of the goodies I had for it including seats (for a tall guy) and the Nomad trunk kit I modified to fit so watch for that stuff in the classifieds.

Congrats on the new bike. They are sweet. A buddy of mine has a black one. I was surprised just sitting on it how easy I stood the bike up. I thought it would weigh a ton with that engine.

Congrats I have been looking at those as well. The local used motorcycle shop has 2 right now I think they are 2013. I have been thinking about test riding one and see how I like it but Im afraid. I did read a write up on them comparing them to the Voyager and they did mention it was easier to come off the kick stand with the F6B. I hope you enjoy it. Al

I was seriously looking at one but the deal killer for me was no ABS. How hard would it have been for Honda to port it over from the Goldwing. Especially for the price they're asking for the F6B.

I actually spoke with the dealer about that very thing. Turns out Honda built this bike to go after a very specific market and price point and several features were price point problems such as ABS, electric adjustable suspension, Air bag, cruise control (just recently added to the F6B), adjustable (on the fly) headlights... you get the idea. Really though the F6B is not all that much more than other cruisers but it is a lot less than Goldwing full tour models. It still amazes me how Honda got that big bike to feel that light and nimble!

I would like to know who let you test ride that bike because Dealers around my parts won't let you test ride these metric bikes. Only the Harley and Victory Dealers let you test ride around here in NC

I used to own a 2004 Honda Rune with that same motor, amazing bike! You could roll off the throttle at 20 mph in 5th gear! Raced a Mustang GT and a Subaru WRX, beat them both. Sooo much smooth torque. And check out the video of the motor running with a nickel on the valve cover. I love my Vaq, but if only I were 3 or 4 inches taller...and younger... and better looking... and slimmer... more hair...

Well CBO
You planted a seed and it grew. I went to the local used motorcycle shop and wheeled and sealed myself into a new purchase also. I bought a 2013 FB6 with 5700 miles on it. I like it a lot. It doesn't have some of the new features like yours but I do have the passenger backrest fog lights and a taller vented front windshield. It was considerably less than a new one. Im not much for buying new Al
