color and stripes for 2020 Vaquero

Just curious how many like the new Vaquero color. I love the blue but not so much the graphics. Just asking.

I like the 2018 but the graphics on 2019 and 2020 look like someone was p**sed when they put them on.

I have to agree 100% Looks like not much thought went into it. I think it takes away from a very nice blue. Different strokes I guess.

Current Vaquero graphics suck. I have a 2015 with the flame style graphics and they "flow" on the bike. The new graphics make no sense.

Hey BobBear. I have to agree about the graphics. After I started this thread my wife reminded me that when I was looking at my 2015 metallic grey Vaquero with the stripes on half the fairing and tank and rear fender only on one side that I thought it looked odd like it had been in an accident and repaired. Still get comments on the stripes from others. Some love it like myself and some don't. I agree with Redjay on the years. I guess others from 2019 and up must like them as they keep selling. No accounting for what people like in colour schemes or graphics. LOL

I was just on the Kawasaki web site looking at the Vaquero and realized that the Vaquero graphics mimic the web page graphic at the top of the screen. This seems to be some kind of Kawasaki logo graphic.

Terrible graphics. It looks like a preschooler went to pepboys and bought a tape stripe off the rack and put them on.

Graphics removal

I'm thinking about buying a new 2019. They're discounted like crazy right now. I like Spark Black, but not the graphics.

I looked closely at the gold graphics when I was at the dealer. The ones on the tank are clear coated over. All the rest are not. Has anyone removed them? A hair dryer and Goo Gone might do it, but I wouldn't want to ruin it.

In the past all the graphics have been decals except the tanks. The tanks are clear coated on. Heat gun will do it. Except the tank. A new bike is good though. Graphics grow on you some times? I really did not want the white 2016, but turns out I like it now. It was really the K-Act brakes, that made it better than the Green 2015?? one I really wanted, happy I made the upgrade.

Another Mike.. evaluation
