Cruiser Luggage Wanted

Does anyone have any cruiser luggage they want to sell. I'm looking for some luggage I can strap to the luggage rack (i.e. Nelson Rigg CTB950, etc.) for overnight trips.

Thanks.

I have the bags in the side bags and I use a insulated cooler and or large backpack. Not very expensive. If you buy MC related bags they will be expensive. Tourmaster has some real nice stuff. You could check Dennis Kirk, Competition Acessories and I'm sure there are many more.

How much are you looking to spend?

I have a large Willie and Max leather bag which straps to the passenger backrest and the luggage rack.

It wasn't cheap. But I'll send you a pic if you want.

Check these out. There are a couple of inexpensive options.

I bought a Dowco set up from JC Whitney for $70. Has a large sissy bar/luggage rack bag, and round bedroll type smaller bag, a water proof liner for small bag (they are "water resistant" otherwise) and a net type bunge cord set up. Lots of velcro staps and loops for attaching many different ways. I have used a bunch for 4 years and no problems. Worth checking out as I see the same setup at bike stores for $150-200 all the time. I think this pic shows the little bag?

It's a little harder to see, need to zoom a bit but this is the larger bag on back of bike. This is from trip to National in Custer a couple years back. My bike is the black and silver one in from RH side of pic.

Here's another one from Jafrum, looks pretty decent and the price is good, it's on sale thru Memorial day. From the reviews (bottom of page) seems they all like it.

not sure what kind but the bag on the seat is great and there is a roll bag that goes on top and it stays put, about $85. The bag on the rack is a Dowco ( I think) it OK but the roll bag DOESN"T stay on top.

I have had the Jafrum bag for a couple of years now that VulcanE refered to and the outer layer of the man made leather is peeling off. I would not recommend it .The bag holds alot but durability of the outer material is not good.

Find some quality luggage, such as T-Bags or Dowco. They last a long time. Some of the off brands are cheap Chinese junk.

I have the same bags and they are nice. However, now with the trunk I am looking for something else to go on top of the trunk. Be careful with how tight you pull the straps. I did break one latch on this.

I have an H.D. trunk and would be very hesitant about putting anything on the rack. I ride solo exclusively and purchased a medium
backseat bag from Viking. It is just the right size and has a built in backrest. It seems to be of good quality and the price was right, but it will get a good test run in about 3 weeks on the trip to Maggie Valley.
