Kinda surprised we haven't heard from members that live in or are familiar with the Lake Gunter and Guntersville area.

Ride through there on the way back from Arkansas ride. Area around lake is beautiful but that's all I know of the area.

There are a few islands that Kawhead and Ron/Tammy could camp on.....;)

What are the lodging options in the area? Reasonably priced motels that are "motorcycle friendly?"

Date? I really hate to confuse the plans further but we need a time frame to plan for. Vacation planning will be here before you know it.

Hey Guys, thats in my back yard , Guntersville lodge / campground ,state park was trash by the tornadoes in april . lots of day trips around but not real sure about true bike friendly acomodations .
