Lots of bikes on the road.

On my way to Virginia to help restore electrical service to the region. Drove from Marshall Tx to Gaston Alabama today saw lots of bikes running accross Mississippi and Alabama. Two ups pulling trailers. Ride even on the interstate was beautiful. Wish I had been riding with them.

Didn't see nearly as many this weekend down here. It's been brutally hot and humid. You're probably going to be up there a while with what I saw on the news. Bad storms again yesterday just a little further South.

Its our Canada Day long weekend here, and there were lots of bikes out yesterday. I had a job to go to about 85 miles away and there was a steady stream of bikes on the road.

Still in Virginia working. They have quite a mess here. Have parts for my bike at home that came in since ive been here. Two items from the chuckster. Trailer hitch and air system. Install as soon as I get home and then over to the dyno shop. Ride ride ride!

Saw a group of Nomad riders headed west on I-20 in Alabama today they were riding in rain. Still would have loved to have been with them. Finally got home this evening. Virginia was a mess but met a lot of fine people. Also discovered a ride just off the blue ridge hwy called "the crooked road." can be found online. Will be going back on the bike.

BTW, in the morning, wife and I are heading to Red River, NM to escape the Texas heat. I don't like hot or rain so the bike is on the trailer. Plan to be up there about a week messing around.

Thanks Dave. We plan to ride around NM and Colorado, when we aren't square dancing at the Community House in Red River.

Sounds like Scott missed his Voyager while he was out of town. lol

Y'all have fun and be safe Bill. Rain every day here. 164 miles on the new bike in 2 weeks. Might be able to get out for a little while this morning before the rain starts again.

Y'all have fun. I thought I would escape the "Texas Heat" when I was in Virginia but they had record heat while I was there. What luck to be there during such a rare occurance.

Enjoy New Mexico. I know you took the bike. Im envious.

Mitch you're turning into a true Harley owner already. Can't ride in the rain and then only rides it to bike night.
