Sleep in late on Saturday. Gas up bike and load clothes, etc. Carry granola bars in tank bag, and water bottle in drink holder to limit stops. Carry bottles of 5 hour energy.
Sleep in late on Sunday. Departure time 12:00 o’clock noon.

I’m ready for the grueling ride to the Antlers, Oklahoma rally!!!!

It's all in riding that distance every Sunday just to be out on the bike. Then when you have to go longer it's nothing.

My preparation has been a dismal 12,000 miles this season. I have been averaging about 22,000 per season for the last 4 or 5 years but this year we went from winter to July without a spring, thus the low amount of mileage. I am ready and looking forward to this road trip with my buds Ray and Denny.

Sounds like the planning took longer than the ride will take.

That's about right. I am also planning to do a 50 CC (coast to coast in 50 hours) in the spring. On that one the planning and the ride time should be more equal.

I can't even imagine that let alone ride that.

Gene could you post more info about your ride when it comes closer? I know you have a tracking system on your bike, would love to follow your progress on it and know what route your taking.
