Changing passenger floorboards

This is the first of what I'm sure will be several questions I'll have over time. I bought my 06 Nomad about three weeks ago and have racked up 1600 miles so far (LOVE IT!!). One problem that's surfaced is that the passenger floorboards are too low for my wife. By experimenting I've determined that the amount of lift available as shown on Gadget's page won't be enough, she'll need them to come up 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Does anyone know if the Kawasaki Fire & Steel floorboards for the 1500 will fit? I could have sworn that Kawasaki offered some for the 1600 classic that were higher but can't find them now. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. My wife loves to ride but with her poor leg circulation her present leg position puts her in a lot of pain.

Changing passenger floorboards

Not much change you can do on the passenger floorboards. I have seen a after-market bracket that brings them a little higher and angled up in the front but nothing like what you require.

Changing passenger floorboards

I have extenders that lowered and tilted the floorboards up in front for the wife. She is 6', so moving them up wasn't an issue. Sorry that I don't have any help for you.
