Front whee noise - 10000mls for a bearing change??

Hi Guys,
I just bought a 2003 with only 3000k miles, stock Bridgestones, it has the same "grind" that AJ has.
Just makes the noise in turnes at higher speeds (50+). I am going to try the axle torque first ...VulcanE...I am going to try 85# as you recomended...is that the factory spec?

Can you "repack" lube or grease the wheel bearings or do you need to replace them? Sounds spendy. Thanks

Front whee noise - 10000mls for a bearing change??

The tire roaring problem is what led to me to finding KawaNOW! The Nomad had Dunlop 404's on it when I bought it. It roared/howled in turns and when leaning. I brought it to the local shop, and after a test ride, was told it was the bearings, and that if that didn't correct it, it could be the drive shaft! I had the front and back bearings replaced. Nothing changed. That's when I began the internet search which initially led me to the forums..... was told to run higher psi and it corrected it 50%.... then I got the Metzelers and no more noise! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! ;)
