2 min. MC Personality Quiz
I used my junk yahoo account that even has a ficticious name.
My results to the questions: This was created and brought to you by Motorcycle-Intelligence.com, publisher of MOTORCYCLES ONLY, the world's #1 newsletter for riders who can tolerate occasional motorcycle whimsy -- all in addition to news, tips, and practical insights about riding, motorcycle gear and rider safety. Question 1: I am interested in motorcycles because: Your Answer: A1 I want better fuel economy Analysis: You are one practical person. Motorcycles do provide a way to save on fuel costs (a darn good idea nowadays), but have you ever considered doing more things just for fun? Question 1: I am interested in motorcycles because: Your Answer: B1 I hear it's fun Analysis: You are an adverturesome spirit. As a newcomber to motorcycles, be sure to get some basic motorcycle safety training under your belt to fully take advantage of what can be a lifetime of motorcycle enjoyment. Question 1: I am interested in motorcycles because: Your Answer: C1 I enjoy riding Analysis: You are an adventurous creature who loves independence and freedom, and are not held back by risk. As well, you are secretly admired by those who wish they could be more like you (and who may also consider you "crazy," or more precisely, "inspirationally abnormal"). Question 2: I ride motorcycles primarily to: Your Answer: A1 Commute to work Analysis: You are a confident and practical person. You also revel in your uniqueness. When the workday starts, you've already had more fun than everyone else around you. And when the workday ends, you will arrive home in better spirits than anyone you work with. Question 2: I ride motorcycles primarily to: Your Answer: B1 Have fun with my riding buddies Analysis: You are social, enjoy active companions, and unless you are otherwise hyper-competitive, get along well with others in a group environment. Additionally, you very much enjoy your own space. Question 2: I ride motorcycles primarily to: Your Answer: C1 Enjoy riding by myself Analysis: You are free-spirited, independent, actively competent and dexterious, as well as quite self-assured. You are a natural leader and go your own way: no one can tell you how to run your life. You enjoy life more than any non-rider you know. You've solved most of the primary problems in the world, and if you could spend a little less time riding, you could help get those resolutions implemented! Question 3: I think "motorcycle safety" is: Your Answer: A1 For sissies. Analysis: You're young or stupid...(or probably both). Although you're not dead yet, your future does not look so bright. Question 3: I think "motorcycle safety" is: Your Answer: B1 Something I continually learn more about. Analysis: You are intelligent and/or experienced enough to respect the concept of reducing calculated risks for the purpose of enjoying long-term motorcycle pleasures. You are a good friend to yourself and to others, and all things considered, you have a pretty good life. You would help another in need (including non-bikers) and represent the cream of the crop within the global brotherood of motorcycle riders. Question 3: I think "motorcycle safety" is: Your Answer: C1 It's for newbies. I'm already an expert on the subject. Analysis: You're busted: You are a liar on the subject of motorcycle safety and most likely you lie about your age and weight, and parts of your anatomy. If you were truly an "expert" on motorcycle safety, you'd strive to continually learn more about it as well as diligently practice to improve your abilities. (To avoid the penalty of an automatic government audit of your taxes, take the test over and click on the answer "For sissies"). Question 4: I primarily ride: Your Answer: A1 When the weather is warm and sunny. Analysis: You are a casual motorcycle rider who enjoys the best that life has to offer. Question 4: I primarily ride: Your Answer: B1 When it's at least minimally warm enough, but it doesn't matter whether it's sunny or raining. Analysis: You are a serious and seasoned motorcycle rider who not only can't get enough of a good thing, you are self-secure, competent, hearty, have good riding gear, and quite likely have a lot of good riding stories. Question 4: I primarily ride: Your Answer: C1 Huh? What does the weather have to do with anything? I ride until the snow is too deep to get out. Analysis: Dude, presuming you're telling the truth, you are one heck of a hard-core, motorcycle riding fanatic! You are healthy, strong, hard-headed, ruggedly individualistic, and very adept at solving problems and getting things done. It's likely that you're also a Navy Seal. If there were more people like you we'd have world peace and every nation would have a balanced budget. Question 5: Here is what I think about wearing a motorcycle helmet: Your Answer: A1 I don't wear a helmet (unless in a state or country where I'm forced to by law). Analysis: You value your freedom and pleasure above all else. Question 5: Here is what I think about wearing a motorcycle helmet: Your Answer: B1 I always wear a helmet, regardless of whether the law says I need to or not. Analysis: You balance your freedom and pleasure with practical responsibility. You have confronted the reality that if you want to enjoy motorcycle riding a long time, a high-quality helmet is an important part of ensuring your survival. Heck, that helmet of yours even has the potential to help your family, friends and associates to benefit from your brilliant and entertaining companionship indefinitely into the future. Question 5: Here is what I think about wearing a motorcycle helmet: Your Answer: C1 Sometimes I wear one and sometimes I don't. Analysis: More than anything, you value the freedom to make your own decisions. (And by golly, you are at least familiar with the risks associated with such decisions!) Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: A1 Go the fastest. Analysis: High performance is your name, and competition is your game. You look GOOD in your colorful helmet and sporty gear and enjoy life to the fullest. You are knowledgable about the complexities of motorcycle technology, and consider your are behaving on the road if you are doing less than 2x the posted speed limit. Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: B1 Are the loudest. Analysis: Dude, you are obnoxious and don't ride very far, or are already deaf. (You are also actively working to inspire laws that will make aftermarket exhaust systems illegal for the rest of us). Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: C1 Are American. Analysis: You look your best in black leather. Your classical tastes in motorbikes do not necessarily mean you prefer classical music, but then again, the music to your ears is one of the most classical sounds in motorcycle history. Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: D1 Go the longest distances in relative comfort. Analysis: You are bold, adventurous, spirited, philosophical and experienced in many areas of life. Even though you are a kid at heart, statistically speaking, you are over the hill. You are enjoying life more than most every non-rider you know and your non-riding friends think you're eccentric. Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: E1 Are made for off-road riding. Analysis: You truly know how to have fun and enjoy life and are in pretty darn good physical shape to boot! (Especially considering how many jolts and bangs your bones have endured). Question 6: The "Best" motorcycles are those that: Your Answer: F1 Are the oldest. Analysis: You are a mature, intelligent, fact-filled encyclopedia of motorbike history and likely have a good sense of humor. (And no matter how many motorcycles are in your garage, you probably don't have as many as you desire). Congrat's! You passed the Twisted Grip Motorcycle Personality Test!! Keep an eye out in your email inbox for MOTORCYCLES ONLY, your FREE newsletter with news and tips on motorcycle riding, motorcycle safety, and occasional whacky motorcycle whimsy.
