John P. and I are rounding up some stuff for the raffle and are looking forward to seeing everyone. Is it okay if the T-shirts have a couple of holes in them, they're small? Kidding!

As it turns out, I've been able to obtain some items from our sponsors. So far, I have gift certs from JC Motors, Sage Brush Engine Guard Designs and some cool map packs from Butler Maps.

Since your group usually puts a ticket in the bag by the item they want I might be able to find a women's riding jacket that isn't getting much use.

If the proceeds of the 50/50 drawing are going to an animal shelter then definitely count me in. I can even think of one such shelter in Mountain Home, Arkansas that could use the assistance.

I'll have to send John to drop off the money though. Last time I went there we ended up adopting two cats. I was only going to drop off cat food. LOL.

Received a delivery of goods from David Hollinger last week to be raffled off at the rally. Since he would not make it to the rally he asked me if I would take them down with me and donate them.Thank you David!

I would remind everyone that raffle items shouldn't be expensive.
And after reading several posts here I feel I should make everyone aware of something.
I spoke to Jim and Bea Hardin and this raffle will be done the same way as at past SouthCentral rallies.
This is not a 50/50. We do not have a charity in mind to donate to.
All the money collected will be "won" by people at the rally.
The raffle is just for fun. There is no pressure to buy tickets. If you don't want to buy tickets, that's fine. No problem.
