another exhaust thread... please dont kill me.
guys, i know what the choices are out there... i want a slip on but I just dont want internal bleeding in my brain from something too loud. My last bike was a V-Star 1300 Deluxe and on that bike i had a Vance and Hines Pro Pipe, cobra Power Flo intake, power commander V and a custom tune. The exhaust was just too damn loud at highway speeds. I plan on Ivanizing my ECU but id like to get an exhaust on before i send it out. What are my options?

Why not just debaffle the stock mufflers for a bit more rumble.
I did this on my 2005 Nomad and it was perfect for me. Not too loud but had the sound of a V Twin. |

I liked the sound of the stock pipes. When I talk to Ivan he said I'd gain torque and the motor would run cooler with aftermarket pipes. I went with cobra I just wish they were quieter on the highway.

I went with Cobra Tri Flo Slip Ons for my 2015 Voyager and they are not too loud on the highway but I do wear ear plugs with a modular helmet. I can hear the radio at highway speed also.

I just did the debaffle on my Vaquero. Very happy with the sound and it's loud enough for me.

I don't know if there's any difference but it is their 2nd generation of the Tri Oval Slip Ons. It does have the 02 Sensor bung with a plug that the Tri Ovals didn't have. If you do the Ivan ECU reflash that doesn't matter.
