In the hospital-not bike related!

I'm spending 5 days in the hospital hooked up to an EEG and a video camera to investigate a loss of conciseness for an hour that I had a couple of months ago.

In preparation for this (known about it for a month and a half) I didn't read any of my motorcycle, or car magazines, so that I'd have something to entertain myself with. (I'm being video taped and monitored 24hrs so I'm limited on what self entertainment I can indulge in )

They have wireless here so I brought my laptop and can keep up on stuff, pretty sporting of them.

No surgery or any thing else. Just a vacation in bed for 5 days with about 15 electrodes sticking out of my head.

Its cool that you can surf the net in a hospital now days.

Try to enjoy your stay, and don't be to rough on the nurses. they can make your life miserable if you don't co-operate. Let us know how you make out when you get back home.

In the hospital-not bike related!

I'm sorry to hear this Dan. I hope they find out what's wrong. My neighbor lady passed out and was in for 3 days of observation. They didn't find the problem. She came home and fell over in the driveway and fractured her skull, broke a bone in her neck and broke some ribs. 4 months later she needs to wear a helmet and they didn't find the problem. She's also afraid to walk on the driveway.

Good luck on your tests Dan. Hope that everything is clear.

At least you have something to do while in prison. I couldn't imagine sitting there for 5 days with nothing to do. Well actually, sometimes that might be nice.

Dan,
Having just spent 4 days in the hospital 2 weeks ago I appreciate your situation. Having the internet and some good reading material will help pass the time.Glad you are able to be here with us during your stay.
