More than a name on a wall. . .

I have 3 friend's names on that wall. Two were very young and the other was a friend's brother who was a doctor and leaving country within 3 days. He had a wife and a set of twins that he hadn't seen yet. What a shame.

We need to remember and tell people why they were there.

More than a name on a wall. . .

I personally know two of the guys that their name is on the wall. There may be others but not sure. I saw the wall in Washington and what a feeling it gives you, just seeing all those 58,000 plus names. I also saw the moving wall when it was at Guntersville, Alabama. I missed Vietnam because I got in the Navy just in time. Did four years in the Navy, got out, stayed out a few years, then joined the Army and retired May 31, 1995.
