Well hello!
Just figured id intro myself here.
Proper names John but im also known as Blatherbeard to my motorcycle, craft beer and gaming enthusiasts. Have owned a 750 and 2 1500 vulcan classics before i bought my first bagger, My 2012 Voyager and i love it to death. Just got back from a 2 hour ride and had no wrist or saddle soreness at all where with my 1500 after about 1.5 hrs i started to feel it in my shoulders, back and saddle. Actually looked at 2 different bikes, the 2008 Hd FLHTCU and the 2012 Voyager. Ill admit i went in biased toward the Voyager, having owned so many Vulcans. Really the biggest things that edged out the HD was better stylling in the dashboard, wider seat for the wifes saddle which is a tad large, and the price was right(about 13 vs 15). And the mileage as ridiculously low on the voyager(less than 4k vs 23k+ on the HD) Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Congratulations, and happy to have you aboard. This is a good place to be as there is no other board with more info on these bikes out there. Bastrop's on our way to the Hill country and part of our weekend riding schedule. Maybe we'll see you there sometime.
