Hi Ray,

Been a few weeks now since I installed the modified Avon grips and you were quite right about them being comfier. Anyway, I never rode my Vaquero before I did the modification but have ridden about 600 kms since I did the install. What I can say is that there is no hesitation, flat spot or jerkiness at all at slow speeds. Thanks for providing a well researched and designed product.
PS....The suspension sure does need to be sorted though....Oh well that's the next project.
Regards. Neil.

I find it funny that anyone that buys Ray's throttle mod never posts any pictures of the product (like it's top secret)

There are plenty of satisfied customers to endorse the product, no pictures required.

I removed the throttle response lag when I was tuning my new Cobra FI2000R tri pot tuner. The first screw you adjust on the unit completely wiped out the lag at the #2 position. Right off idle, response is crisp and instantaneous. A simple fix.

No doubt you improved your skoots throttle response by giving the engine a more appropriate air/fuel mixture with the adjustments you have made to the FI2000, which is ALL the F12000 can do. IT CANNOT remove the throttle lag that is programmed into the ECU's electronics which delays the throttle plate opening vs throttle grip operation. If you think you have good throttle response now, add to your skoot the throttle mod and you will be even further impressed with the performance of your skoot.

Ray I just thought of another thing. When I open 'er up the response is smooth and seamless and most importantly, abruption free. I like that especially when riding slow in the parking lots. So please enlighten me....has your mod created an abruptness to throttle imputs light or full?
